Join us for the upcoming Guy Harvey Outpost Photo Academy with professional and award-winning photographer Mark Krancer on Lake Kissimmee. Mark will be guiding you through a photo adventure of Old Florida and all the beauty of Central Florida’s great outdoors! Mark will offer instruction, tips, and techniques on creating professional quality images and helping you become a better photographer.

Want to become a better bass angler? Have you ever wanted to see what it is like to be part of a bass tournament and do a weigh in on stage? Join us for a special Guy Harvey Outpost Angler Academy on Lake Kissimmee with Ladies Let’s Go Fishing on September 20-21st at Camp Mack, a Guy Lodge, Marina & RV Resort during the Bonfire Tournament Series – Bonfire Shootout. This Academy, anglers will not only learn to become a better bass angler, but also allow you to participate in all the weekend activities of the Bonfire Bass Series.

IGFA'S KID'S FISHING CLINIC - PASSPORT TO FISHING
Aspiring anglers, join Guy Harvey Resorts Junior Pros Clayton Keene at Camp Mack, a Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina, & RV Resort on the 2nd Saturday of each month for a special Outpost Angler Academy – in partnership with International Game Fishing Association. Junior anglers Clayton will be offering the International Game Fishing Association’s popular “Passport to Fishing” program for beginning anglers to learn how to be a better angler. Designed exclusively to introduce beginning anglers to the equipment and basic techniques of fishing, “Passport to Fishing” has introduced thousands of kids to the sport of recreational fishing in an engaging and hands-on manner. Teaching stations are organized around different subjects including basic tackle selection, knot tying, fish handling, de-hooking, fishing safety, and environmental stewardship.

KIDS FISHING CLINIC
Junior anglers enjoyed a fund day of learning how to be a better angler with Bass Pro Bobby Lane, Yamaha, IGFA, Pure Fishing, and Captains For Clean Waters. Junior anglers were able to complete activities from knot tying, casting, cast netting, conservation, and boating safety.
GATOR HUNTING ACADEMY
Guy Harvey Resort Guide, Dave Markett provided tip and techniques for Gator Hunting. Dave walked through every step of the process from getting the permits, the actual hunt, getting the ‘gator processed for eating and then finally help with taxidermy for your trophy.
KIDS ANGLER ACADEMY
Junior Anglers enjoyed a fun day with hands on instruction from the IGFA Staff on how to become a better angler through their Passport To Fishing Stations, which included knot tying, casting, tackle, and conservation stations. After completing each station kids enjoyed time to fish from the dock.
