Join us June 21-23rd for the annual Fire on the Lake festival weekend at Camp Mack, a Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina & RV Resort. Our sanctioned ICS Chili Cook-off Competition will include a JEEP Rally with a 7 Slot Salute to the Veterans for the Most Patriotic jeep, among others. Lake Kissimmee will be ablaze with competition as hot as the music. The Camp Mack Riverfront will be alive with chili tastings, live music and specialty food and craft vendors.
Chili cooks compete in this International Chili Society (ICS) sanctioned event in either Traditional Red, Homestyle, Verde, and Veggie Categories as either an Adult or Youth Team. Teams will be judged, and the winner crowned as the 2024 Camp Mack Chili Champion.
JEEP owners and enthusiast know adventure begins at the end of Camp Mack Road. So fuel up and venture out to Camp Mack for our Jeep Rally & Seven Slot Salute. Strut your JEEP stuff, take in JEEP demonstrations, cheer on the chili cooks and salute America’s warfighters helping support K9s Partners for Patriots. Prizes will be awarded for the Most Patriotic Jeep and Most Patriotic Pup. Event proceeds benefit K9 Partner for Patriots.

Our Cause
K9 Partners for Patriots mission is to prevent veteran suicide, to provide hope and healing for those struggling with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury or Military Sexual Trauma. They provide a positive path forward through the experience of training and caring for their own service dog in a safe environment of camaraderie, friendship & family that brings veterans from self-doubt to self-confidence; from isolation to reconnection. Come out and support this wonderful cause.

Cook Teams
We encourage cooks of all levels to join as it is an excellent opportunity to learn from the pros and join in the comradery. Teams will be able to compete in either adult or youth divisions in any or all of the categories including Traditional Red, Homestyle, Verde or Veggie. Chili Cook-Off Team Entries
- Adult Division: $10 Per Category for Traditional Red, Homestyle, Verde and Salsa Categories. This includes a 10 x 10 space. Cooks must provide their own canopy/tent, tables & chairs, and supplies.
- Youth Division: FREE! This includes a 10 x 10 space. Cooks must provide their own canopy/tent, tables & chairs, and supplies.
- First Time Cooks to ICS will receive a FREE ENTRY ICS Membership for this cookoff! Join the Fun of being an ICS member and comradery of being a chili cook with other cook teams.
Cook-Off Categories
Traditional Red
Traditional Red Chili is any kind of meat, or combination of meats, cooked with red chili peppers, various spices and other ingredients. Beans and non-vegetable fillers such as rice and pasta are not allowed. Preference is not given to either cut meat, ground meat, shredded meat or cubed meat.
Homestyle
Homestyle Chili is any kind of meat, or combination of meats, and/or vegetables cooked with beans, chili peppers, various spices and other ingredients. Homestyle chili may be any color. Beans are required. Preference is not given to either cut meat, ground meat, shredded meat or cubed meat. Seafood is allowed.
Verde Chili
Chili Verde is any kind of meat, or combination of meats, cooked with green chili peppers, various spices and other ingredients. Non-vegetable fillers such as rice and pasta are not allowed. Preference is not given to either cut meat, ground meat, shredded meat or cubed meat.
VEGGIE
Veggie Chili is any kind of vegetable ,or combination of vegetables, cooked with chili peppers, various spices and other ingredients. The use of meat and/or any meat by-products is not allowed. The use of soy and meatless “meat” substitutes is allowed. Veggie Chili can be any color.
People’s Choice Chili
Tickets will be sold for the people’s choice. Come out and support all the cook teams and help select the Camp Mack People’s Choice Winner. Winner of the people’s choice will receive a trophy.

JEEP RALLY
Salute our Chili Cook Teams and our Veterans on Saturday with our Jeep 7 Slot Salute and JEEP rally. Jeep owners who register ($20.00) will receive 2 Chili Tasting Tickets, and a chance to win prizes for the following categories:
